Story
Hi there!
Myself & my wonderful army are participating in the Tough Mudder event and fundraising for the amazing Beatson Cancer Charity. Without the Beatson I'm pretty certain I wouldn't be here to participate in this challenge.
This time last year I was about to undergo 18 rounds of radiotherapy after previously having 606 hours of intense chemotherapy. I practically lived in the Beatson and confirm the care I received was second to none. I am determined to do everything in my power nearly a year down the line to be fit enough to take on this challenge and continue to give back to the Beatson.
Cancer is affecting 1 in 2 of us. Their may not be a cure in our lifetime but with places like the Beatson and with your support mean more people like myself have the chance of survival.
I'm forever grateful to my army for always standing by my side and raising money for this wonderful charity. Currently a few of my family/friends are receiving treatment at the Beatson just now and we will be thinking of them whilst running.
